Pingo Doce Hiper

Everything you could want in a convenient location for most of the hotels in Funchal. Plenty of products, include fresh bread and fish, and the checkout staff always seem happy. If you're like me you'll need a taxi to carry all the stuff back, and luckily there's a taxi rank right outside.

Very good supermarket. Near to Hotels, with plenty grosseries to choose. Fresh vegetables and fish. Also near Lido beach. There is a park zone, very recommendable.

Good shop with reasonable prices

Everything you need is in here. But it's very very hot in here. No air con.

Safe, well stocked with quality produce.
