Very central and lavishly tooled.. The staff were friendly and understood me in English. Really nice and we hope to stay again.

Great location lovely stylish facilities Good customer service only issue on this visit( not normal of course ) only found out on arrival that breakfast would be box delivered to our door so limited options not their very great normal standard and again did not know till we arrived that we have to check out early 10 30/11 rather then 12 .....and we had to change a business call slot so no major issues just minor niggles which wouldn't have been there had we known in advance

My wife and i stayed for a week. It was a superb hotel. Very friendly staff, extremely clean, wonderful rooms tastefully decorated and at a reasonable price. We'd especially like to thank Claudia, Beatrice, the restaurant staff and the ladies who immaculately cleaned our rooms with a smile. If we ever visit Figuiera da Foz again, we will certainly book to stay here again! Thank you Universal Boutique Hotel!

This place was our oasis. We spent 2 days in Porto and 2 in Coimbra in unseasonably warm temperatures. It was heaven when we arrived at the Universal Hotel. The staff were so gracious and worked very hard to meet our every need. The room is decorated beautifully. It is such a lovely, relaxed place. The beach is so pretty. We drive a few miles down from our area to find multiple beaches along the coast. It was a nice respite before our next stop in Lisbon. I would love to come back!

Clean, spacious and well decorated bedroom with all the amenities you'll ever need at a very accessible price. It's also one block away from the beach and lots of restaurants. Service was very friendly. A very easy recommendation to everyone.
