It's a very small lighthouse, farol, not interesting, just ok. Around it, walking distance, you can find way better attractions.

Cute, that's it If you're walking around Belém, by the river bank, you'll cross Farol de Belém (Belém Lighthouse). It's quite small and it has nothing special

I spotted this landmark first after my tour of the Belem Tower ended prematurely. It was about a 5-10 mins walk away so it was pretty easy to reach. You can see it in the distance after aligning with it from afar. It's slightly leaning to one side and is fenced off. There is no way of checking it out properly although it looks like it needs some restoring to do. There is an outdoor gym nearby to rest a little while checking out the lighthouse. It's not particularly exciting other than taking some photos. Alright for a quick drop off before continuing on your merry way!

Belem is the charming district to the west of Lisbon, and is the setting for many of the city’s most iconic tourist attractions. Originally, Belem was the location of Lisbon’s shipyards and docks, and from here departed the 15th-century voyages that discovered the sea routes to India, East Africa and Brazil.

unassuming but important part of the history of the area. needs some explanation as there is nothing to read about it nearby. I like lighthouses so I stopped and examined it. most people past it by without a glance
