So far I am not that impressed with the classes. What I have witnessed and experienced is the antiquated system of direct instruction only. I am currently working on my doctorate in education. This is even more ironic considering that they are teaching teachers using a pedagogy that has been proven not to work. The best part about the school is that the cost is low compared to the US. I am American and, therefore, compare to my home country. Another bonus is that they have a cheap little place for beer, snacks, etc. The negatives: the instruction has not been good compared to the instruction I have received doing my undergraduate and masters. This place is a pain in the butt to get to, especially if you don't have a car. Overall, it has been a positive experience, but a lot can be improved, hence, the 3 star review!!!!

The Best Public University you can have. Well recognised in the international university markets. Great Equipments, great staff, great academic support, great infrastructures, great transportation net, great location near the Caparica Beach, just 4 minutes by car to the nearest shopping center (Mall), just 15 minutes by car to the center of Lisbon.

Great university for engineering offering one of the best computer science courses in Portugal.
