Had a fantastic experience during the west coast tour with Antonio.Some of the beutiful views we could ever witnessed. Antonio is genuinely friendly and passonate about his work. He provides decent amount of information throughout the trip while driving you around with utmost care. Absolutely recommend to everyone. DO not miss a tour with South Explorers while visiting Lagos.

Antonio is a very friendly guide who will do anything to make you feel comfortable. He gives a lot of information about the country and the places you are going to. Everything is done COVID-19 proof. We have made two trips. Because it is less busy we had him as a private guide on the tour to Silves and Monchique!

Fantastic tour of the fortresses of Sagres and the lighthouse of Cabo de Sao Vicente, the panorama is breathtaking. The guide explains everything in detail and speaks English very well. Pick-up directly at the hotel in Lagos is very convenient.

I did the Sagres Sunset Tour with António from South Explorers in October 2019 and was already very excited about his way of doing a tour. Now I'm back in the Algarve and have contacted António to do the Silves / Monchique tour with him. As expected, the tour was super nice. Because of the Covid situation I had a private tour as there are very few tourists at the moment. The tour is full day. António speaks very good English, Spanish and of course Portuguese. He knows beautiful viewpoints apart from the 'normal' tourist stops and has a great deal of knowledge about the local history as well as the flora and fauna. What sets him apart as a tour guide is that he treats his tour participants with his very friendly and humorous manner and thus offers everyone a great experience. On request you can also put together your own tour with him, or depending on how the tour participants agree, you can spend a little more time in one place and a little less in the other. With António, you never have the feeling that you're just being carted off to take a few quick photos and then rush on. Thank you so much for the great tour !! I feel this won't be my last tour with South Explorers :)

I highly recommend. I did the sunset walk in Sagres with Antonio as my guide. I had a great time respecting the sanitary rules. Antonio was very pleasant, very knowledgeable about the peculiarities of the area and made us have a great time I highly recommend for those who want to discover the Algarve and its secrets with a local touch
