This place has everything we needed. Bikes, ice for drinks, a pool, nice clean rooms, close to the supermarket, a rural outback with dirt roads and beautiful, beautiful beaches. And then they went the extra mile, by helping out with postcards, wine from their trees, DVD player, converter to charger and parasol. In essence, we felt taken cared of. More than I could have hoped for. Most importantly, the people are kind and helpful. I only have great things to say about this place and I would recommend it any day of the week. May they only find even more success in the future. Trying to find things they could consider; Maybe a Chromecast given the rooms have TV's and everyone watches Netflix these days. Then again, now you'd be watching Netflix on your holiday.

Stay from 9/26 to 10/6/2020. While the covid monster seemed to be asleep took the step to board the plane. With 3/4 occupancy that was already less threatening ... Hop to the rental car at parking 4 (DO NOT follow car rental) but follow left past the airport building. At 10 'we were driving while there was still a long queue at the car rental. You think a good start. It is better to skip the secondary road, because there is nothing to do along the way and a lot of zone 50. The hotel: if you drive almost to the entrance gate, it will open automatically, it's a fact ;-) Depending on the front or back building, you drive in the front or back, close to your room. There is something about the hotel ... it clicks almost immediately, just a view, orderly ... inviting. When making your reservation, you specify your wishes and, as it turns out, all are met. Apparently that doesn't always work, but it does now. Magnificent. Our room 7, located on the North side, 1st floor, was spacious 5x4, clean, with a bathroom (rain shower) 3x2.50, a private terrace on which a lounger, table and 2 chairs can easily be placed. A communal terrace of at least 5x5 may be used as a sun terrace. The connecting road, which must have been an asset 15 years ago, was the only thing I can complain about personally for me. Living in Borgerhout you hope to hear the crickets and not the traffic. Next time we will opt for the second building, preferably on the South side. There the sun rises for a long time, but it is always something natural. The owners are top notch. Cook, guide, counselors, source of information and Dutch speaking, which is a bonus for the non-Portuguese speaking, among us. So the word Portuguese that I hoped to pick up on fell into the water. The service: I can only put it like this ... are you considering taking your butler from home, to be assured of a pico bello service, on almost all your wishes ... just leave him / her at home. You will not miss him. Delicious. The cleaning team does an excellent job in a corona occupation. It is, almost unnoticed, part of a wonderful stay. Area. Photographer, first browse Google Earth, then try the real thing. Narrow picturesque streets with colorful houses, check. Rough coast in, depending on the time of day, warm earth colors, check. If you want the "Arch of Window" in Albandeira with a pristine beach at sea level, you will have to make an effort to be on site at sunrise AND low tide (otherwise the passage is under water, up to 1.5m). I did it by bicycle. Nice ride ... from daylight breaks through, but until then it is pitch dark. Still safer by car. Hiker who does not more or less look up a slope ... here you can walk your corridors, along quiet streets where sometimes a car drives or along the "goat paths" Superrrrr. Going to eat. In the immediate vicinity are tasty "to do" restaurants. A Lota in Armacao de Pera is a must, both for lunch (35 Euro) and for dinner (55 Euro) per couple. Book through Christophe immediately upon arrival, it is often full, with good reason. If you want delicious fish at a fairytale sunset with a lone rock in the sea, Rei das Praias is the place to be. Book by phone with Christophe. (100 Euro / couple) In case you did not understand, we had a blissful leave. You are part of a group, more or less like-minded. The contacts, in this formula, are made faster. There are few questions that go unanswered as owners, staff and customers seem to form a team for a period of time. It felt good and is worth repeating to say the least. Regards.

Beautiful abode. Breakfast is excellent. Room is equipped with all necessary comfort. The free coffee and cake at 4 pm is something not to be missed, super delicious! Excellent location to discover the Algarve.
