Attention, only foreigners must pay, the police do not verbalize the premises! Thieves simply. We parked on a Sunday to go to the laundry right across the street. We drank a glass a little higher while waiting. When we come back, we see the fine. I am looking for the meter park which must be well hidden. I watch the cars around, nothing. No small meter paper or fine. Vilamoura is really a deplorable place for tourism. For us it is anti-tourism racism. You are bad on that one. And a Sunday more! Portugal will not see us again. Stay with your received ideas, you just confirmed mine. After a stay in Spain, the mentality is really not good when it is unfair. If at least the cars around had also been verbalized we would not blame anything. Free parking at Mc Do and near hyper chicos. No surprise it's free. Frankly, we paid for our parking and even registered on the highway. We just spent money on vacation and we are thanked for practicing an unfair and unjustified policy ... Beautiful police mentality.
