Parasailing Vilamoura(Parasailing Faro/Parasailing Algarve/Parasailing Prices Vilamoura)

Honestly, I would not recommend going here at all. When I booked everything seemed very clear. I asked how long the ride would be and the womand said 45 min but forgot to mention that we would only be in the air for 8 minutes. I wonder it even was 8 minutes though. Maybe around 6... when I asked about this to the owner of the company, wich is a British lady, she denied and said that it was my own fault. She got very defensive with me and did not even let me finish my sentences. When I confonted her after the trip that this was very unpleasant, she denied again and talked over me. Completely not open for my feedback! I told her that I would write this review and I hope that people take my note seriously. This place is just a rip off and the British lady is just here for the profit, nothing else.

Me and my two children aged 10yrs and 7yrs have just been parasailing with Algarvexcite for the 3rd year running ! The experience was amazing and the skipper and crew made the trip special i would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Vilamoura in the future .

To be fare the price is abit extreme for '10' mins which isn't 10 mins at all. I think we were in the air for about 6-7 mins in total and it cost €40pp plus at the end they ask you if you wanna buy the video which then costs you another €25. But because you pay so much in the first place you'd expect at least a free picture or something. It was a very good experience all in all just wish it lasted longer.

Ok. So there are lots of companies offering this experience but we chose this outfit. We were two adults and four kids. There were no discounts for being a kid, so it was 6x 40 euro. We went with another family of four and a couple. So in all we had a total of five paragliding groups. Each group got a little under 8 minutes in the air and in all we were out for about an hour. So that hour long trip with 8 minutes paragliding made the company 480 euro. Good money for an hour's work. But it was when we returned to the marina that we were horrified when they said that the cost of the photos and video they shoot of you doing the activity would be an additional 80 euro!! The previous day we had kayaked and the company we went with also produced an edited drone video and photos for 20 euro. We passed on the opportunity to be fleeced further and left having enjoyed the brief experience but with the distinct feeling that we were paying a lot of cash for it. I don't know what other companies charge for the same experience but I strongly recommend you check with a number of operators before making a decision. I've been reminded to mention that during the trip there was banging music. That's fine. But the problem was it was all explicit and hard core lyrics in every song that left nothing to the imagination. It would have been irrelevant if it was a boatful of adults but there were young kids listening to this stuff. It was really inappropriate in the circumstances and the staff, who spoke perfect English, should know better than to put on this kind of music when kids are present....

It was our first time parasailing I was a bit nervous to start with but the crew on the boat explained everything very well when it was my turn to go up in the air I couldn't believe how calm it was incredible Experience and a big shout out to Christoph the skipper was very professional and an awesome experience I would highly recommend this to anybody great job
