Maria Nova Lounge Hotel

We stayed for five nights. Overall great experience. Great pool area with a pool bar. Options for food and drink were spot on👌. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choice. The roof top bar had spectacular views of Tavira and excellent cheese board. Strong covid 19 processes in place. Thank you to all the staff at Maria Nova Lounge Hotel. Only negative comment would be is the pool area had random people turn up (we suspect). For example a group of 4 people with a cool box arrived and took 4 of the sun loungers (on this day it got busy there were no sun loungers for hotel customers to use). Again to note we only suspect this.

This hotel was so fantastic. They were extremely helpful to my husband and I when we booked in. The hotel was super safe with the covid 19 ongoing. Everyone wore masks, unless they were sitting eating or drinking. Sanatiser was present everywhere you were going inside the hotel. Breakfast was superb. Your temperature was taken as you entered the restaurant. I have never felt safer in a hotel, as I did this one. Pool towels are available at the front desk. 2 towels, 20 euros deposit. You can change your towels as often as you like and of course you get your deposit back when you hand your towels back at the end of your stay. The housekeeping was top drawer also. The rooms are extremely clean. I cannot praise this hotel highly enough. To top it all. It's in the centre of Tavira. Oh, do try the rooftop bar. Fantastic. Many thanks to all the staff. Polite and very helpful. Will always stay when in Tavira.

Was here for 10 days for work reasons. Nice hotel, great WiFi. Beware of train noises, for those bedrooms facing the front. Amazing breakfast, awful pillows. Great staff.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Only disappointed that spa was not open. Breakfast was also very nice with lots to choose from. Beds where comfortable, was 2 single beds but was OK when pushed together

Fabulous service and great accommodation. They take covid precautions very seriously and feel very safe. Overall Tavira is a lovely place with everyone playing their part in keeping to the rules. Will definitely be back!
