It was ok. Nothing special. Lots of meat and potato dishes but nothing exciting. By the way, I are there this past summer, so things may have changed, but probably not...

We enjoyed it for the most part. The chips were great. We got the grilled pork 25€ for two people but honestly it was just a large for one or a normal here in Portugal. The bacalhao was 14€ for a portion, nothing special. Service was alright. Toilets are in need of maintenance and refurbishment.

Really impressed by the authentic taberna feel, the friendly local diners and most importantly, the local dishes. The sea bream and the pork cheeks where quite simply enormous. Delicious, quirky, honest and enormous. You were warned. Take an empty stomach and prepare to be wowed. Highly recommended.

Great service. Veal was excellent. Highlight though was the chocolate cake!!
