We liked this restaurant very much. The food was nice and the prices even better. Will come back next time we pass by Évora.

Not great service (it's one guy and he's usually got a lot of tables to serve) and the food is normal. The portions are big as you would expect, but the flavor isn't out of this world. What you find when you don't want to pay too much or be right in the center of the town

Wonderful, delicious, excellent-priced food Husband manages and host and wife cooks these amazing dishes Bread, 2 spreads and olives on the table (for about 2 euros). Then we had a Huge bowl of Carne de Porco a alentejana (best pork I’ve ever eaten with clams in a sauce I wanted to lick the bowl clean) with potatoes and bread (as is traditional) for only 7 euros !!!!! Lovely atmosphere, super clean bathrooms Best place in Evora - can’t wait to go back

good healthy simple local foods. No frills. Good prices.

The folks at the hotel that we were staying at recommended that we try this restaurant out. After reading the reviews we decided to give it a go but would probably not go back again. We ordered the shark with clams, Grilled chicken (which was the only chicken dish on the menu) and Grilled salmon. The table next to us was having dessert which looked really delicious so we ordered the chocolate mousse. As mentioned in quite a few reviews here, the shark with clams was too salty but the chicken was seasoned very well and was different but the kids enjoyed it. but the hottest part for us was the language barrier because no one spoke English and it was very hard to communicate. I would probably not go back to this restaurant unfortunately.
