Posto de Turismo de Évora

Not particularly helpful. They were kind of not super kind to us, but it was fine. They really only had suggestions of the already famous and popular things in Evora, of which we already saw most of from our own basic research. If you've no idea what to do in the city, it's worth stopping in.

Let's say they are not very eager to promote Évora and the district. Depending on the day you may encounter a very helpful and friendly person who will give all the information you need or someone who just hands over a brochure and seems to be glad when you leave. Although there are many tourists the staff hardly speak anything but Portuguese. Want to experience a very good tourist office? Go to Elvas.

The older woman working here on Sunday was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She seemed to hate working there. This was the very first place we visited in Évora and was a terrible first impression.

Staff were friendly and it helped they spoke English.
