Service is just horrible, I arrived at the restaurant (party of 2) and even though there were a few free tables the waiter, who was very rude, made us wait quite a while before he sat us. The food was ok but the service ruined everything. Definitely not coming back and Im not advising to anybody. Very disappointing.

I came in only for sardinhas grelladhas as I was craving for them and got the first of season, fresh, mid sized (as I like) and grilled to perfection with sea salt. It came with a simple but delicious tomato salad (onion, oil & vinegar) and delicious bread. I ate my hearts content and paid 15e with a full to the rim glass of white wine. Couldn’t ask for more to be happy then. Host & likely owner friendly and attentive. The venue itself is charming and plays a great radio station which made my lunch the more enjoyable. I was alone which I kind of enjoyed. 👌🏼

Excellant "Nacho na Pedra - Steak on the Stone" with quality piece of steak for table cooking but with terrible fries. "Lulas na Brasa" - "Grilled squid" were also excellant but veg were cool. Service was casual and slow. Whilst the restaurant is covered it is partially open on sides so that on a windy night it can be chilly. Bottled wines are overpriced. House wine by the jar is reasonable quality but is cheaper by the glass. Like most things in Milfontes it is expensive
