Oásis

The Restaurante Oasis was a simple, beach front restaurant on the other side of the river to Vila Nova Milfontes (so if you have a car, it’s just across the bridge). It’s a great, quiet and very simple/ traditional decor with a beautiful view from the decked terrace. We ordered the small octopus salad and sardines for starters and the breaded fish soup & breaded shrimp strew for mains, 3 glasses of wine and one beer (bill today was approx 46€, a bargain for what we ate & drank). Both main meals were super delicious, we probably could have shared one, considering we had starters. The staff were really lovely, and we were able to bring a dog onto the terrace. Worth a visit!

This place was a pleasant surprise. Right on the beach, very good food and fair prices. The seafood is fresh. The staff is very nice and friendly. Absolutely recommended.

Best massa de peixe i’ve ever had in Portugal! Nice and friendly staff as well!

Seafood rice is still its weak point. It is allowed to eat but it is not a special dish as in many restaurants in the area. In general and to be on the beach, with everything full, it is recommended. Good attention from the young team of waiters (best of all). Very aware that everything was to our liking.
