Casa da Pega

A very nice, small and all quiet campsite surrounded by lime plantations. The Dutch host (also German speaking) are super friendly and helpful with a lot of tips. 900m away is a very recommendable bar "Quinta Bar". Definitely also a place to be. For the campsite be sure to call before, because only a few campsites make this exclusivity possible.

We were allowed to stay in the lovely house for 2 weeks. The house is comfortable and cozy, surrounded by fruit trees and beautiful plants. Even in early October, it was lovely to enjoy the lovely terrace outside until late in the evening. Due to the good topographical location of the house, many sights could be reached within half an hour by car. The manager Mariska was always helpful and had many good tips to spend the days in a fun way. In short, our vacation at Casa da Pega was great and we still enjoy it every now and then.

Wines stayed overnight with our campervan. The owners were very hospitable, we had electricity, were allowed to use the shower and toilet. Very nice environment. I recommend it.
