Ferienhaus Casa Laurisol

Beautiful house in the most beautiful area of Madeira. The house is perfectly located on an idyllic hill - but still the "highway" can be reached within minutes. The house itself is fully equipped with everything you need and everything is in brand new shape. The best thing about the house is the beautiful terrace with seaview which has sun all day long. The owners are very caring and helpful and have a lot of recommendations. Would always come back here.

As already described in the previous reviews, this beautiful holiday home is just perfect for a comfortable, quiet and relaxing holiday, but also in an ideal location for nearby levada hikes and other activities. The photos that can be seen in the description of the house reflect the reality 100%, it is also very modern, tasteful and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The short distance to a supermarket and a nice little beach that was never really full is also very advantageous. We have rented quite a few holiday homes and apartments, but this house and Casa Lanaflor top everything! Everything is rounded off by the hosts Rilana and Norbert Kort, who are so competent and of course with great sympathy for all questions almost around the clock and super prompt. We are now planning our fourth vacation in these beautiful holiday homes and are looking forward to the next time!

Our vacation on Madeira Island was originally supposed to take place in May 2020. Corona unfortunately thwarted this plan. So we could only arrive on July 11th, 2020 for 2 weeks. The Kort family was there to help and advise us in advance of our arrival. After landing, the mandatory corona test took place at the airport (duration approx. 0.5 h), and we received the negative test result the following night. After arriving at the house, Rilana showed us the entire property and answered our questions. The photos on the website are not embellished, all expectations were more than met. The house is perfectly equipped, is very clean and has a magnificent view. The garden is very well maintained, from breakfast until evening you can stay on the beautiful shaded terrace or choose a sunbathing area. Air conditioning in the house is not necessary as the pleasant night temperatures guarantee a restful sleep and almost all windows are equipped with shutters for shading. The rental car we think is necessary can be parked in the spacious garage. We explored the whole island with the rental car and drove to the starting points of our numerous hikes. But also from Calheta there are great hikes and in Calheta itself a recommendable sandy beach. During our vacation we could count on the Kort family at any time, we got tips for hikes and of course you also helped us with a rental car problem (do not book with BRAVA - Car !!!). Great holiday home, breathtaking view! The property is very well maintained, the equipment was great! To recommend all around! The landlords (2 German) are very friendly, always there for you and give a good tips on topics of any kind Madeira.

We stayed for two weeks in this beautiful villa. Everything is there for a great holiday. Rarely rented a villa that was as clean as Casa Laurisol. The kitchen lacks nothing and for the cool evenings there is a pellet stove that makes the room pleasantly warm. Beautiful garden where you can sunbathe. Simply recommended.
