Algarve Surf Shop & School

Big fan of this surfshop! first of all they have all the different board for rental. so whether you just start surfing, or intermediate or advanced level they have all kinds of board/wetsuits for rental. They also rent the surf rack for on the roof of your car, which was amazing since I rented a Fiat 500. All staff is enthusiastic and always ready to help and answer your questions. Last but not least the they are THE shop which promote awesome looking local surf brand apparel and the price quality is perfect.

Hired a board and wetsuit from Sam at the Algarve Surf Shop - he was extremely helpful in setting us up. A great range of boards to choose from to suit all levels of experience. Also very helpful in providing us with tips on where to surf and more generally about where to go in Sagres. Really friendly and helpful - would definitely recommend!

I stopped by to ask information on the surf lessons and I found a very prepared and competent personnel. Elisa explained me everything in detail, as I was scared to try it. I will leave a positive review on the lessons separately on the school page, but I really have to thank her for her patience and commitment in onboarding me and my bf to this new world. I also bought there a very high quality face cream that is water resistant, and after the nice lessons I came back one more time to buy something to keep memories of these amazing times in Algarve. I was always welcome with a smile and listened and served with pleasure, something that made me feel good and made me bond with the local community of surfers. Thanks so much for your help, I will definitely come back the next time! Ps: Elisa also gave me a map with the best beaches nearby, and also suggested some places where to go to it. I would add this on top of the welcome package, I didn’t have to go to any tourist information afterwards just thanks to these small attentions...

I'm not a surfing expert but the italian girl working here was able to advise me on which course to take and wich equipment to use. I had a great experience during the class and with the board I rented. Totally recommended!

This place is righteous! If you need a board to buy or rent, look no further! The staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I am 100% satisfied with my rental and purchase and will be back!
