Very nice atmospheric place. On both banks of the river there are many attractions and delicious cafes. Also, separately note the wine cellars, where you can taste Porto Wine right in the historical homeland of their origin.

Beautiful during the day and the night. You can eat very well on both side of the river. There’s a lot of good restaurants to taste Portuguese food and drink the very good Portuguese wine. See the advises here on Google or in the trip advisor. You can also take a boat to have a short or a long trip at long of Douto River. It’s very beautiful - I recommend a trip to Régua city. I recommend as well to walk along both sides of the river, through the centenary D. Luís bridge and to have a drink in one of the Oporto wine houses where you can know a little bit the production process and the history of the Oporto wine. Have a good visit to my city and be happy 😃

This was one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in my life. I think it was special because even a waiter from taberna do Manuel stopped to take a photo. AWESOME

A walk along the river is highly recommended. This is indeed a lovely part of the city... when I was there it was somewhat crowded but not chaotic at all. If you time it to catch the residual lights of the days while on the other side of the river the lights started coming on ... it becomes even more attractive. There are also plenty of restaurants and places where to go for dinner if you fancy too. Enjoy!
