Worst customer service ever experienced at Passarinho da Ribeira souvenirs store (Maria C Meireles Oliveira store) Tried to buy a cork/leather purse for my daughter living back home in the US and unsure of what she would like, I courteously asked the suspected owner/store manager to allow me to take a picture and share with my daughter to validate that I would be making the right choice. To my surprise the owner simply say NO in an arguably hostile manner. Unaware of the concern and perhaps due to a lost in translation situation I went on and clarified in the local language the intention and the answer got worse and more hostile which forced me to leave the store and certainly to never go back. Not so sure whether the concern was on IP rights when there are not less than 10+ options around. No wonder why the store was empty at the time. ...By the way after a quick walk to the west on the same Cais da Ribeira and on Rua da Alfandiga right across the Restaurante Farol da Boa Nova I could find a more extensive selection a way more friendly and certainly made the right purchase decision ...muito obrigado!
