The Lodge - Herdade do Zambujal

The Lodge made us feel special and appreciated from the very first second. Our whole stay was just beyond superb. The houses and rooms, as well as the surrounding is amazing. Everybody working there is very friendly and cares really good for your wellbeing. The homade breakfast, lunch and diner tasted delicious. We were sad to leave after 2 amazing days but will definitely come back. Beautiful premises. Super friendly and caring staff. Great food. Would give more stars if possible. Thanks again for having us as your guests.

This place is as close as you can get to Paradise. Excellent facilities, great food and wines, warm, kind and competent service. COVID-19 safe and sound. If you want and need to regain your physical and mental well-being after intensive work, this is the place to be.

An amazing stay. All the staff are very friendly and goes beyond to make you feel good and welcome on the property. The food, from the included breakfast to the lunch, dinner options was amazing. We had some of the best “comida Alentejana” (food from Alentejo) on our dinners, pared with wines from the region, where Filipe recommendations were always good. The apartment was modern, clean (we felt very safe) and perfect to relax. The property is well taken care. A place to return with no doubts

The Lodge - Castro Verde is the perfect place to pamper your soul. A very friendly and warm place, pure landscape and a really nice atmosphere. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is great and the whole presence / rooms are super clean and well maintained. I give 5 stars for the whole package. Thank you very much for a great time! My wife and I, both seniors, just returned from a month travelling in Portugal. We booked one night at Herdade do Zambujal and ended up staying for four days. The setting is amazing, accommodations are excellent, food was first class, and the hosts and all staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We stayed in 11 different accommodations in Portugal. The Lodge definitely delivered the best experience and value for money.
