Probably the most pet friendly hotel ever! Great place, amazing staff, best pizzas and an awesome selection of wines! Highly recommended! Will definitely return.

This place is so disappointing. The welcome is impersonal, the breakfasts in the rooms, which are delivered at the time of your choice, are delivered cold and an hour late every day, the maintenance of green spaces and common areas is poor. Everything is starting to get dirty. It is an inexpensive vacation club with rooms at 200 euros per night in obtobre. Ah, last thing, if you could provide drinking water in the kitchens of the rooms, because the water is yellow and is not suitable for consumption. The place is to be avoided.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PEOPLE WiTHOUT CHILDREN LOOKING FOR A RELAXING ATMOSPHERE Incredibly beautiful place with good design in the amazing region of Alentejo. Charlie, the house dog is super cute and welcomes you when you arrive. The food (and the pizzas) are absolutely delicious and a first class gastronomic experience; and breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff at the restaurant is friendly, makes you feel super welcome and is very efficient. Lodging is very well designed and integrated in nature, with wood and cork chairs and handwoven local tapestries. Exquisite and could be a small relaxing paradise. However, if you are a couple looking for peace and quiet we do not recommend this place - it’s extremely popular with families and kids and you will have no moment of rest with all the screaming babies and small children running wild in the restaurant, climbing over the couches, screaming at the top of their lungs. We couldn’t hear our own voices at the breakfast table. Dinner the same. The food is superb, but how can you appreciate anything with all the children screaming? Our next door neighbors had a baby that was crying all afternoon. You get the picture. Wifi did not work in our room which for us was a maior problem due to an important birthday call we almost missed. It was my husbands 50th bday and I had organized a surprise zoom call with friends and family - around 18 people were waiting for us from different countries and time zones. It took me a week to organize this call. When I realized that the Wifi was constantly dropping in the room, I went to the reception and explained how important this call was for us. I was met with indifference and no solutions were offered. When the time of the call arrived, the Internet stopped working and I had to run all across the fields in the dark to the reception in order to be able to have Wifi. I had ordered a chocolate/caramel bday cake. A worker brought us a slice of raspberry cake... Massages were also not good. Very poor therapists and cold massage room, so basically paying 70 euros to be freezing and having a bad massage (there were also no bathrobes and we were given a towel instead). We did love the indoor pool and jacuzzi. It was a pity that the sauna and Turkish bath were not turned on (we had to ask for it to be turned on in the evening) and the changing rooms were very cold. We would love to stay again but between the screaming children and the lack of Wifi, I ended up so tired and stressed out that I wouldn’t want to repeat. We did complain about how unsatisfied we were with this at the reception - unfortunately, the reception workers response is non existent as the staff doesn’t seem to be trained in their profession and theres no guest relations, head of reception or anyone with competence to take care of the guests in this place. They don’t seem to know what to do when the client is saying “look, I’m paying this hotel good money for an experience that I’m not getting” they have no protocols in place to deal with that, they don’t write it down, they don’t tell you “let me talk to the manager to find a solution“, „I’m sorry you had a bad experience with the massages, let me discount that from your bill“ or „ let me give you a voucher for a free massage with another therapist“ to make sure you don’t leave feeling miserable and at loss. They limit themselves to look at you and take your money but have 0 respect for the customer. To have a good hotel, it’s not enough to build well designed infrastructures, you need to actually learn something about the business of welcoming clients into them! One important note: there are no social distance measures in the restaurant, which I believe might even accept outside guests - it was very crowded and the tables were very close together (really really close). No matter what your philosophy about COVID is, you should warn your clients that you will not follow any recommended measures so that people can make their own informed decision to visit or not this place.

People here are extremely friendly! We got an amazing villa with stylish interior design. The farm animals are super nice and it’s perfect that you are allowed to bring your own dog. We will definitely come back!
