Levada da Silveira

Quiet, pleasant and easy trail that appeared to be lightly used. Enjoyed the sound and scents. About 10 points with small landslides or trees down, likely from rain last month.

Levada da Silveira, 12k all told, not a lot of parking. Oldest levada here they say, one less traveled it would seem as the path is a little overgrown, we saw only a few other walkers. Probably as very little guard rails and quite a few drops, not di good if you don't like heights. Lot of this levada was empty as it seems to get drained off for agriculture in this area. Pretty cloudy over all, good views though when the cloud lifted. Had to clear a few blockages as the path had flooded. All in all a good walk.
