PR 1.1 Ilha

One of the most incredible hikes of my life. The trail is safe, unbelievably scenic, and not too strenuous. At some parts it became misty which created an ethereal atmosphere. One you’re on the top of the peak, you’ll have a panoramic view of the surroundings and the Atlantic Ocean. It’s quite surprising to see canaries at that altitude. It’s an ideal hike for people of all ages I think. I highly recommend this place.

Pico Ruivo hiking trail is amazingly beautiful and well worth the effort. If you like to hike, I highly recomend this one when you visit Madeira.
