Ruins of St. George

Magical place. You can think it was a castle or a kind of fortress used by the pirates or against but the people say it was a place to work with sugarcane.

Maybe my favorite place on this planet. Just the rough coast and the sea, it's a magical place.

North of Madeira, also has a great walk , at the end you find the old pier

Worth a visit and once you are there, try and walk in direction of the small old harbour, where and the fisherman's get around in the weekends, you will see brilliant views!

The ruins itself just adds to the dramatic effect of this place, sit down, relax and enjoy the scenery!
