we arrived around 7.30 am, and then we walk to the downtown about 15 minutes. the city is clean, a lot of old architecture building. they have a lot of local restaurant, local souvenir shop and shopping centre also. its great place for walk around, don't forget to bring your camera to capture some awesome old building with great architecture. Just be aware with some people trying to selling marijuana around the park, also be careful of the secondhand market which some people got tricky by buying cellphone Sith ceramics inside the box instead of cellphone.

Paid in advance for the Legends and Mystery Tour and on the day we could not find the tour guide. We walked around the meeting point (we arrived early to anticipate searching for the guide) and called the tour operator on numerous occasions but no one answered so left an email with them. It's not a one star as they tried to rectify the missed tour but we already had day trips booked so it could only be on our last day which we couldn't attend. I would recommend turning up for free and then paying what you feel is right so there's no commitment. It is a shame as we really looked forward to it and never got a refund.

These walking tours are a must in Lisbon, through most of the city center and about various subjects in the city's history.

The center of Lisbon, if we speak in historical terms, is articulated around the Baixa and the hills that surround it. La Baixa, also known as Baixa Pombalina (since it was the Marqués de Pombal who dealt with its reconstruction after the tsunami that devastated it in the 18th century), is the most representative area of downtown Lisbon. The Baixa begins in the north in the Plazas del Rossio and Restauradores and is a strangely flat area between hills. Its streets are straight in the form of a grid. A part of them allows road traffic while others - among them the main Rua Augusta - are entirely pedestrian and have the floors of small black and white cobblestones typical of the cities of Portugal. La Baixa is now a commercial and hospitality area. There we can find small shops -especially textile and some dedicated to tourism- restaurants and bars, banks, big fashion chains and shops with tourist souvenirs. And, of course, tourists. The Baixa is usually almost always in the high season with tourists enjoying its beautiful architecture.
