GLORY BAR

Pizza was very bad, texture like a cracker with too much cheese. Ordered steak cooked medium but got tough peice of steamed meat, over cooked with no char, smothered with salty instant gravy and bad french fries. At least they didn't charge me for the steak because I didn't eat it.

Restaurante “italiano” no interior do Hotel Turim junto ao elevador da Glória. Ambiente melancólico com excesso de staff ansioso contrastando com a falta de clientes e animação. A decoração é bem gira. O atendimento começou por ser VIP, porque, como fizeram questão de explicar (!), fui confundida por uma homónima quando reservei a mesa. A comida surpreendeu pela negativa - bruschetta de lombos de sardinha com sardinha enlatada, esparguete nero passado do ponto e com excesso de ingredientes supérfluos (ex. tomate cherry e rebentos de alfafa), pizza Michel com massa muito boa mas excesso de bolonhesa e temperos; o tiramisu com sabor a café mas pouco mais. O carpaccio de abacaxi refrescante e com raspas de lima, e a bruschetta serrana de queijo camembert e presunto foram positivos.

The waiter and the waitress are very rude. The atmosphere is extremely sad and the setting is not very warm. Pizzas and salads are more than average .... go to Tony's place it's right next door (100m in the same street) that's what we did the next day without any regrets ...

Super nice bar with a beautiful decoration in the chic cellar atmosphere, friendly server and very good cocktail. Nice pizzeria, good pizza and decent price

Small hotel restaurant with a selected Italian menu. All dishes are freshly prepared. Pizzas are available from € 10 with typical Italian thin base and a lot of topping. The carbonara cost € 13. The portions were more than sufficient and really delicious. The only drawback was the character of the service. The lady was very indifferent, if friendly. Still highly recommended.
