Authentic Portuguese dining experience with rich local culture, history and cuisine. Top notch decor (rustic and comfortable) with a real wood burning fireplace. Fair prices and generous portions. Daily feature of mushrooms was delightful, and main meal of steak with onions and garlic oil was simply incredible. Lovely fresh bread and butter, and also we sampled flaming sausage (delicious!). Great for locals and tourists alike, server spoke perfect English. House made cherry liquor to finish off and wow what a treat. Cheers! Highly recommend :)

Found it by accident, but such a happy accident. The food is absolutely amazing. I suggest the Vitela. When choosing the wine you can take the bottle home, which is very nice The staff is really kind and the place very cozy and well decorated.

I usually don't rate 5 star unless it is absolutely amazing... so I'll stay with 4 stars on this one. Very tasteful food, like grandma's! Realy nice owner's, very annoying spanish customer's... with their extremely loud voices like they're on the pig's place! Apart from that, really nice restaurant with great food and a fair price for the very good quality. Definitely coming back, hoping for a quieter dinner!

Really nice food and service. Also beautifully decorated with lots of traditional things. The chocolate cake was a work of art!
