I wanted to love this place. Service was wonderful but the room was not comfortable. The bed was not comfortable , pillows lumpy. If only they could get new carpeting, crisp clean sheets, better pillows. Also we were given a room facing the University and with the students chanting very late into the night, we could not sleep. Please try to restore this beautiful old hotel to its former glory!

Not clean, not comfortable. The carpets are far past their useful life; they are stained and worn and they have a musty smell. The bed was small and uncomfortable and did not accommodate my height. Bed sheets were threadbare. The shower was low pressure and the tub was very hard to stand in. Also, the streets outside were very noisy. Service was fine and the breakfast was also good. I would not stay there again.

Lovely old hotel in the centre of town. In need of a little restoration. Service is good as is the food. On the main road so not very quiet, but definitely not noisy. Near bus routes. Great views and cozy.

GOOD HOTEL! IN THE CENTER OF COIMBRA WITH A VIEW TO THE MONDEGO RIVER. GOOD PRICE AND GOOD ROOMS.
