We chose to is hotel for a one night stay in Coimbra mostly because of price and location. What a warm welcome we received from the front desk! The hotel is in an ideal location for restaurants and bars and the price is great. The room is small, but very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and return for another nights stay!

Location is pretty good. Stayed 1 night for a stopover. Hotel room was average (but it is a 2*..) - I found the mattress too hard. Shower was a letdown - shower mixer was missing the lever handle; and drainage was slow - brought to staff attention upon checkout. Lighting in toilet is a bit dim. Reception staff was a standout: friendly, informative and helpful.

A surprise value: adequate rooms, quiet, with comfortable bed; better-than-average, traditional breakfast; superb location and service.

Great staff. Full of good information. The hotel is well situated to see Coimbra. Very good breakfast. The mattress is the only reason they get four stars. Time to change them and modernise their bedding. Otherwise perfect.

Good location close to center. There was public parking nearby for only 5 euro arranged by the hotel. Very friendly staff on arrival. We got a nice room with clean bathroom and good bed. There is a breakfast which serves its purpose. Nothing fancy, but it gets you going. Very good price/quality ratio.
