Solar dos Amigos

It was an absolute rubbish service when on arrival as we had to wait for a table for about 2 hours, but the food was good.

Really great steak place. Gets very busy so would recommend making a reservation. When ordering steak the potions are huge so order to share. Fish also served here, cooked simply and very good.

Arrived last night around 9pm and were warmly welcomed by the lovely staff who were so friendly. The food was wonderful and very reasonable. Best steak I’ve had in Portugal so far. Will definitely be back to try out some more succulent dishes off the menu and also to explore the many nooks and crannies of this wonderful restaurant in the hills near Caldas. Can’t believe we haven’t been before on our many trips to the area.

Very tender steak, politely served. Generous portions, half dose is enough for two. House red wine is excellent 🍷. Handling difficult times very well. Booking recommended.

A tipical establishment with very good food and service. But the price is a bit exagerated.
