Restaurante Mosteiro do Leitão®️

We had an amazing lunch, superb food excellent service by Hugo, who looked after us and advised us very well. A must if you are in this area very Covid secure and spotless in terms of hygiene. A must go place.

Leitão, the main specialty, is tasty but could be better served (chips are dried and not freshly made). Other dishes and deserts are disappointing. Personnel and atmosphere not impressive. Nice decoration.

The food at this restaurant is authentic Portuguese food. The roasted pig is delicious. It's a huge place and when you walk in, you sign in with your name and the number of people in your party. It's first come first serve but it also depends on the size of your group. Our server was Helenna and she was great. Smiling and efficient. We were seated towards the back which was great because of the space between our table and the next.

Great Leitão restaurant in central Portugal. Perhaps better to book a table before coming in on the weekends/holidays.
