Lighthouse of Praia da Rocha

Beautiful walk to enjoy not only the view but the sound of the sea...

Nice little lighthouse, situated at the end of a relatively long concrete pier. The pier is well reinforced with huge stones which are the haunt of fisherman. It's a lovely place to walk to on a warm day - which to be fair, is almost every day! There are some fantastic views from anywhere along the pier, of Praia da Rocha.

Great place to take awesome pictures and portraits but not very safe

About 20 min walk to get to the lighthouse where you have a nice view from the city. No places to sit though if you are tired or you want to enjoy the scenery. No touristic information on the way about the walking, the view, the purpose of the lighthouse, etc.
