Casa da Lila - Silves

We enjoyed our stay in Casa da Lila (February 2019) so much – in fact, it has been the highlight of our three weeks in Portugal. I have organized trips for friends of mine to other properties of urlaubsarchitektur.de but was stunned about what we were to experience in Silves. We virtually used all parts of the house, enjoyed our sundowner cocktails on the roof terrace, our meals on the “main level”, our cooling shade at the pool (and the feet in the water when the sun was already summerlike…). Silves is a gem to be discovered and it was a good decision to stay at least a week. Otherwise we could not have enjoyed excellent seafood at Rui’s a second time…! We stopped counting storks, we could not stop admiring the orange orchards, we have to be back in order to continue our discovery of the Algarve! Big thanks to the owners for sharing this wonderful place with strangers!

Beautiful house with a breathtaking view. An absolute must for everyone to taste the Portuguese atmosphere!
