Santa Sancha Bistro

A great place to stop for a cold beer with a good selection of local bottles of craft beer. The shop is excellent with lots of local products, but the highlight are the many Ports, Madiera wines for sell. Sample tasting as well. Rui the owner is a font of knowledge of the Ports and a very friendly welcoming host. Would thoroughly recommend a visit if you are in Silves.

Good food, nice service, spoke English, nice place and view. Edit: decided to elaborate. I had the Chicken Toasted Samwich and it was very amazing. The only thing id want more of is the cheese. Even though there seemed to be only one person working at the time, the service was very fast and patient. The view was amazing. We saw some storks flying in the distance, and a little bird came up and I gave it some chips (I'm a bird lover!) The decor was charming and there was nice vibes. I felt no need to be scrolling through my phone while eating, gazing at the castle (it was right next door!) and the view of Portugal was entertaining enough for me. I hope I can go back there but I'm on holidays so I might not see this place again until next year! But I am looking forward to then, and guide my friends to the bistro for sure.

Great little cafe with cold beer, good wine, and small handmade appetizers. Very clean bathrooms and great attention to detail 😁.

Great little bistro with delicious, fresh and well made sandwiches and drinks. We opted for the two sausage sandwiches which were beautiful. Highly recommend the mint and ginger lemonade too. Great service and nice staff. Would eat there again if in the area.
