Municipal Market Silves

Very busy with good display of local produce. Well worth a visit.

Traditional old village style market with lots of varieties of vegetables, food, meat, bread, cheeses, fish and wine.

Well kept. Well run. A beautiful example of what the Mercado municipal in every town should look like. This one is great and in the heart of Silves.

Great choice and variety of everything. Extensive along the narrow streets. Parking is easy across the main road beside the river. Beware of the odd car squeezing between the stalls. Lots of lovely cafe's to choose from.

Small, but good (covered) market. Fresh produce looks good.
