The camera obscura is really a cool thing to experience. It's nice to see a live view of the entire city within a matter of minutes. The area is nice to wander around as well.

They have an English mass at 12.15 every Sunday. Sometimes it starts later as it starts right after the main mass and so it depends how long that goes for. Don't be confused if you come there on time and there is a mass going on.

Handy little stop to get in out of the sun and see a little bit of the old religious history of Tavira. Very well priced at €2.50 per person and the view from the bell tower of the city is worth climbing up the stairs for -:)
