What a fantastic restaurant in the nice town of Santa Luzia. Specializes in Polvo (Octopus) and serves other delicious meals as well. Very popular with locals as well as tourists. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the Algarve. We have been here several times over the past years and food is always great. Many of the people who have chosen the octopus claim it’s the best they ever had. Do note it gets very busy (for good reason) during summer months so either reserve a spot or be prepared to wait....

I booked a table for dinner 2 days prior to going there. When I got to the front of the restaurant the waitress told me my name was not on the list. I had to wait for 30 minutes to see the manager, and she immediately said it was in fact their mistake and that my name was on "another list". They were super disorganized and food was coming out really late. I ended up dining at the restaurant next to it where the service was fast and good, and I managed to get a table on the spot there.

We waited 1.5 hours for the food. It is not worth, quite expensive and I got sick later with terrible diarrhea. I do not recommend!

The food here is solid and we even ordered all non-octopus dishes. Everything we had was flavorful and delicious (clams, garlic prawns, sea bass, shrimp stew over rice, linguine with clams and shrimp)
