Praia da Ilha de Tavira

Lovely beach, Sandy and loads of space, used the sun beds. Turned right when you hit the beach and nice beach bar where you rent beds from. If you don't want a bed plenty of space for the towel on the sand. Keep an eye out for doughnut man and if you are on beds you can get service without walking up to bar from someone who walks around. Sea good and you can get big waves

Love this beach on tavira Island. Go early to make the most of the day. Don't miss the last boat back to the mainland. Check the time when you get off the ferry. Enjoy.

Amazing beach, looks like most of the visitors are locals, which is nice. Amazing snorkeling spot next to the breakwater/rocks.

Having come by train and bus from Huelva, Spain, we were delighted by this quaint little coastal town of Tavira. You need to take a small shuttle boat to get to the beach on the Island of Tavira, but it's well worth the small cost and the short ride as the beach is a sea and sand lover's delight.
