We can not say that we hated it because for the second time that we move to visit the Quinta, it is closed. This time was the worst because we had inquired before. Booking on the site of Bacalhoa. The site lets you choose the day and time: 8/8 16h30. No confirmation of receipt while everything shows that the site is open. That should have caught our attention. We tried to reach them by phone. Nobody answered. We attributed this to the lunch break ... We came to the site after 2 hours drive. Everything was wide open. By introducing myself at the reception, I find an open door with a phone number of a certain Sergio. The place is wide open, several rooms are open but no one inside. (I could finally do my own visit and take the bottles I wanted ...) Desperate I call the number left on the front door of the reception. No answer. So we left again. All indicated that the site was open but it is only by crossing a worker working on the site behind that we learn that the site is closed without any specific reason. I find it shameful and disrespectful on the part of a society like Bacalhoa. Customer satisfaction does not seem to be a priority for this company. While a simple message on the door, the website and / or messaging would have been enough. But why bother when you only think about selling wine .... I was a fan of Quinta Do Carmo wine but be sure that I would never buy a Bacalhoa wine again and I will make sure to share this experience on social networks to show how much Bacalhoa is interested in its customers. who dares to be interested would be only a little bit of their wine.
