Small but nice castle. Free entrance.

The information they give is useless and incorrect, when they don't know something they make it up. Before deciding to visit Beja, we called this tourist office to make sure that the museums were not going to be closed and they assured us that they were all open today. We decided to come based on this and we have found almost everything closed (Archaeological Museum, Visigoth Museum, Regional Museum ...). They do not do anything to justify their salary, I do not think that in a city of 24,000 inhabitants it is very difficult to be informed of when the 4 museums that there are open and close, even less when it is supposed to be your main job, to be informed to transfer that information to the tourists. Thank you very much for the time you have lost us and the useless kilometers you have made us travel.

Located in the center of the courtyard of the Castle of Beja is this tourist office. The attention is magnificent and very friendly. They give you a map and they explain the main attractions of the city. Beside it is a small space where you can have a drink. They open at 9:30 am, the service is free and the surroundings are 100% visitors at no cost. They know how to speak English and some Spanish
