Always a warm welcome.
If you want to taste real country Portugal food this is a place to be. Not only food is important but friendly and family atmosphere typical for the little village in the middle of nowhere. Such culinary experiences can form your living much more than having dinner in 3 Michelin star restaurants somewhere. This is something that Anthony Bourdain would cherish the most with no reservation journeys. It's absolutely recommended
We asked for a vegetarian sandwich and they said yes that they could that. So lady Maria came and asked if we wanted salad on the sandwich. After waiting 15 min we got a basket with pieces of bread and later on a plate with salad. So we thought that was their way of calling that a sandwich. When we got the bill, OMG they had written 2 x 6,75 for a salad from the chef. What a plate with green salad, 4 pieces tomato, raw onion and 4 pcs of Cheese. When we complained and said that we ordered a sandwich which normally costs 2,5-4,5 per sandwich, could we just come outside to meet a big fat guy.
SO FOREIGNERS Don’t go inside you get screwed. 😡

Beautifully simple, home made, super tasty food with Portuguese family.
Don't judge the interior or the exterior in fact.
It's not the "Instagramable" restaurant. Sit down, take your time, let them serve you whatever they have. It will be aweosome.
A hidden diamond!
We had two great evenings at this restaurant. The first evening we had salmon and steak. Both where excellent.
The second evening we ordered (pre-order on the day before) the grilled black bass from the santa Clara lake nearby, and a stew of wild pig. Both where truly outstanding: we would absolutely recomment to visit this place.
Very nice staff with a passion for there food.
