Turismo Rural - Monte Soalheiro

Monte Soalheiro is an oasis of calm. From the minute we arrived Nélia made us feel so welcome. We were encouraged to help ourselves to hot drinks and home made orange cake in the dining room. The swimming pool was a delight to swim in after a hot day on the beach. The rooms were beautifully appointed with good quality furnishings and very comfortable beds. We had early evening drinks and nibbles (which we took ourselves) on the patio looking out over the valley as the sun went down. We prepared our own cold food for supper and ate in the dining room. We were a group of 7 ladies on a walking holiday, it was the best place we stayed during our entire trip. We plan to return. The hotel is a short taxi ride from the main resort, it cost us 20 euros per car.

Really comfortable, peaceful, excellent service. I highly recommend this place. The people at the house are very nice and helpful.
