Madeira Fauna & Flora

We did two tours, the lauriselva and the geology tour and enjoyed both. The tours vary slightly depending on the guests but the lauriselva one starts with a short levada walk where you're introduced to the local flora and fauna, then as you travel down the mountain you learn more about how the indigenous forests until you get to near sea level. The geology tour involves a visit to an old lime kiln and the lava tubes and of course they guides tell you about other stuff as you pass it by on the way. Enjoyed both tours!
