Has most of what you might need. Prices are very reasonable. Reasonable selection of fresh vegetables and fruits, though not extensive. As with many places in Madeira, no fresh green chillies! . Why?

Near enough to the city center but without the crowds. I got in and out in 15 minutes, and found all I needed (coffee, cereals, fruit, olive oil and oat drink) with good prices on top (spent 18€ in total. What more could I ask for?

Nice supermarket the girl on the checkout was very helpful and had a few words of English.
