Nico’s bolo do caco

Amazing value for money. Fresh and tasty. The cook works barehands, accepts money in gloves, all cool!

Wicked kiosk. Several different options, each of them 2.50 euros. We took ours straight up - garlic only baby. Before our eyes the chap inside cooked our garlicy treat. It was at this point that the we understood size of this beast. Be warned: Nico's bolo de caco is monsterous. Unlike the smaller bolo de caco that you might see on the other streets, these boys are about 9 inches across and maybe an inch thick. We proudly and ravenously devoured our prize on the seafront. Absolutely delicious. But no sooner had we consumed Nico's bolo de caco than we realised that there was so much garlic that it was infusing with our blood, sweat and being. It was throughout us. We were one with garlic.

It was not warm. The employes work without gloves.

Usually I like the service and the products but today was different. One of the two ladies was slightly rude and did not even warm the bread! Which says on the sign "always warm". Sorry but this experience was pretty bad.
