The Irish Pub Sports Bar

Very vibey sports bar. Christmas time, football fans. Food just ok. Noisey alley road.

Discovered this place this week when arrived in Funchal on Monday (2/3/20) and we visited there again last night. Everything very clean and tidy. Bar staff, helpful, friendly and had good knowledge about local products. I don't recall seeing a food menu, therefore not sure whether food is served there at any time of day. I expect we will call in there again before we return home.

Bar tender was... It Kind was surprising, that he knew about icehockey, but was releaeted and has a favourite team!!? Madeirian!? Wow!

Went in to watch the 6 Nations. Reasonable priced drinks and food and the steak sandwiches were amazing, best we've had in Funchal (so far)
