Place next to the sea and main street in Funchal, we took a test there - a lot of comfortable place to sit or lie down, and enjoy the moment. Along are many restaurants etc...in the end, next to the yellow fort, small,almost private beach
Nice spot to relax
Visited 'Praca do Povo' today and really enjoyed the walk.
The area includes a very large garden, a harbor and small stalls with prices that are affordable.
More importantly, it was nice to see that the garden was very well looked after.
Worth the visit. Well done!!
Good way to use the stones and mud that come down in the 2010 floods. Now, a beautiful extension of the Avenida do Mar
