Ate here today. Service poor apart from first young waiter who, after seating us went off duty. We had to change tables due to nasty smell coming from side of restaurant. My fettuccine with braised vegetables was a massive portion of fettuccine, a small amount of soggy cabbage and swimming in soy sauce. Actually was disgusting. My partner s meal no better. The waiter was extremely inattentive and spent his time smoking or in a restaurant across the road. Did not bother to ask us why we hadn't eaten the meal. The chef appeared and looked unkempt. Never again.

I'm a local. And sometimes it's hard to find just a simple restaurant with casual food. Giuseppe verdi was best choice. We took the 9.90 menu and didn't disappointed. Good food. Good portion. Plus the service who was very nice. Nothing more to ask from a little restaurant in town. I recommend!

We were looking for an Italian restaurant and had walked across town. The menu here was one of the more interesting so we chose to stay- and were very glad that we did. The two staff on duty were superb- constant laughs, chats about the area, help with the menu. We both had lasagna and it was a revelation! Totally different in texture, shape and make up to what we were used to. For a start it is round and shaped like a hill. It appears to be put together to order because it took 30 minutes to arrive and we spotted the same for another family's order. The pasta is fresh. It tasted great. The portion was huge and my wife ate only half. The street itself is also charming and feels more authentic than the 'old town' street of restaurants. To find it head for The Ritz. There are 4 or 4 restaurants in a great area.

Well organized restaurant, good for tourists, friendly staff.

Brilliant restaurant. Lovely garden. Great food. Friendly service. Highly recommended.
