What a fantastic time we had on the trail tour we did with Madeira Trail Tours. It was the highlight of our Madeira holiday. From the moment our guide (Dino) picked us up at our hotel (arriving exactly at the arranged time) everything went according to plan. It was organised perfectly and Dino was a great guide. He ran at our pace and walked when we needed a break. He explained lots about the island, the wildlife, plants, flowers, trees, history etc. which made it even more enjoyable. The run itself was fantastic, challenging and technical in parts, but Dino was very professional and had a high regard for the safety aspect. The lush, green forest we ran through, and the levadas we ran beside (and tunnels we went through) was amazing, like being in the Amazonian rain forest. Even ran in the clouds at one point and could feel the moisture from them, brilliant. Would recommend this tour to anybody who likes running, and in particular, with Dino as your guide you won’t be disappointed.

Perfectly organised through the team at 2 Madeira. Absolutely gorgeous island and was well looked after by the company. I went for the Athletics to sprint and the stadium did not disappoint, the facilities were amazing and the views breathtaking. My coach Hugo was really friendly and also very knowledgeable in all disciplines and helped me with my block work, if the training wasn’t enough to make you go then the island itself should! Lots of things to do, never a dull moment. 2 Madeira went the extra mile by having lots of useful contacts around the island which made my trip that bit more amazing. I would highly recommend and would definitely use them again!

I had a great guided trail run with Dinarte in Madeira on Dec 31! He picked me up right at 9 and took me for a 15km tough hilly (but scenic) run. He was very chatty, told me lots of stuff about Madeira and ran at my pace, running ahead a few times to take photos. He was good company and I thoroughly enjoyed the run! A great way to run (without getting lost) on trails I would never attempt on my own.

I enjoyed surfing an diving. I really had wonderful time there. It was unforgettable! Instructors were great, very professional and kind. Honestly, it was much better than I could even imagine.I'll try to visit Madeira again and enjoy in beauties of this wonderful place.
