Snack-Bar Restaurante Salgueiro

Good local place, full with families from the villages, that is usually a good sign. Food was good and genuine at an okay price but nothing special.

Fast service but horrible food, the fries were not done yet and the tosti was far from delicious as well. Staff was friendly and location is great.

Stopped for lunch there one day. Right in the heart of Funchal so not cheap. Very crowded but we were served promptly & enjoyed the food. No one rushed us & we sat with drinks watching the world go by & listening to a very pleasant jazz performance.

After a 3 hour journey on the number 80 bus we were ready for a long drink and a good lunch. Both were fine. The ladies facilities are also fine !!!

Nice food with a view! Don’t miss the “lapas” with “bolo do caco”.
